The City of Riverview deploys a street sweeper daily to clean roads inside and adjacent to the Riverview Land Preserve on Grange Road in Riverview. Look for this large, white vehicle cleaning King Road multiple times each day between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. with its brooms, water sprayers and vacuum.
The Schwarze® A7 Tornado™ is a heavy-duty, chassis mounted, regenerative air street sweeper that completes its runs going East to the Frank and Poet Drain and West to Allen Road. The equipment can perform most typical sweeping at a quiet and fuel miserly engine speed of 1400 engine rpm allowing for low operational costs.
This City of Riverview vehicle has a 250-gallon water dust control system that is emptied three to four times each day of dirt and debris. The vehicle is then refilled inside the RLP before returning for another sweep of King Road.
The Schwarze® A7 Tornado™ operates each day the RLP is open and serving contract customers - Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Since 1968, RLP has transformed itself into a regional resource by providing disposal support services for more than 16 downriver communities.
