The Riverview Land Preserve's next Community Shred Day has been scheduled for Saturday, September 18 from noon to 4 p.m. at 20863 Grange Road in Riverview.
This is a free drive-through event and a perfect opportunity to shred confidential paper materials such as receipts, bank statements, medical records and tax documents. All documents will be securely shredded on-site. Shredded paper will be recycled. Each ton of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, 7,000 gallons of water and 4,000 kilowatts of energy — enough to power the average home for six months.
Riverview | Brownstown Township | Grosse Ile Township | Trenton | Woodhaven | Wyandotte
There will be a three-box maximum per residential household. No businesses please. The Community Shred Day event will be held rain or shine.
Rubberbands, paperclips, staples and folders should not be removed. No binders please.
Put it on your calendar and we'll see you in September!
